Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski could be on his way to London this summer as Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly plotting a bid to land the Polish forward.
The Blues have struggled since the departure of Diego Costa, who rejoined Atletico Madrid at the start of the current season, following an incident with coach Antonio Conte, which forced him out of the club even before the expiration of his contract.
According to the Sun tabloid, the 29-year-old’s wife, Anna was spotted in London last week while on a shopping spree and probably getting acquainted with the city ahead of a possible move at the end of the season.

Though there are reports in Germany that the former Borussia Dortmund striker is considering a move away from the Allianz Arena having spent four seasons with the club, and will be willing to embrace new challenge at a new league.
And with 97 goals in 119 matches in all competitions for the Bavarians, Bayern will not let one of their top strikers go, but they will have to contend with Pini Zahavi, the super-agent with links to some of English football's biggest clubs.
He is also said to have to have close relationship ties with Blues owner Abramovich, which might make the switch easier for the Stamford Bridge outfit, should their European counterpart tries to play hard to get.
Lewandowski has scored over 235 career goals in over 365 competitive matches across all competitions since he kicked off his professional career at his home club, Znicz Pruszków in 2006.

He is yet to win the Uefa Champions League, but has won 13 trophies across all the clubs he has played except for Znicz Pruszków, where he spent two seasons with no silverware.
The former Dortmund marksman has a running contract with Bayern until the summer of 2021 while his current market has grown to about €80 million.
