The vice President Yemi Osinbajo has arrived Yola after reports of communal violence in certain Adamawa villages, his senior special assistant on media and publicity, Laolu Akande, reports via tweeter.
NAIJ.com gathers that the vice president was received by Governor Bindo Jibrilla of Adamawa state.
Akande said Osinbajo’s first meeting would be with the Lamido Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa and his chiefs.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that a militia group suspected to be Fulani herdsmen attacked some villages in Numan, Adamawa state.
The gunmen were said to have launched the attacks on Lawaru and Dung communities in Demsa local government area of Adamawa state on Monday, December 4. The gunmen also burnt down houses and destroyed property while attacking residents of the community.
The vice president said he was in Adamawa on President Muhammadu Buhari’s instruction. He said the president wants a first hand report of what happened in Numan and Mubi.
