A former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, on Tuesday, December 5, arrived the national headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Atiku who was accompanied by a large crowd of supporters was received by the spokesperson for the PDP, Dayo Adeyeye.

The former vice president who recently dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) party to return to the PDP is expected to meet with members of the national caretaker committee led by Ahmed Makarfi at the PDP secretariat, Wadata Plaza.

Led by the crowd which consists of drummers, singers and dancers, the former vice president was seen dressed in a matching grey caftan and cap.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that the former vice president defected from the APC to the PDP recently.
Atiku has also boasted that he will defeat President Muhammadu Buhari 'easily' at the next presidential election in 2019.
