Liverpool are confident of signing Germany international Leon Goretzka in the coming days from Schalke 04 after landing a mouth-watering deal for Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk earlier this week.
The German can negotiate a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside of Germany from the beginning of January and, according to Bild, Liverpool are front of the queue.
