Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly interested in the signing of Schalke 04 and German midfielder Leon Goretzka and United will make their move in January.
The 22-year-old German star will be out of contract at Schalke in the summer, and would be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs from January 1, 2018.
Manchester United are now said to be considering offering the German club a mega deal for them to lure Goretzka to Old Trafford next year according to Sky Sports.

But Schalke chiefs want Leon Goretzka to stay and they have reportedly offered him another deal which will make him the highest paid player in the club's history.

Meanwhile, Barcelona, Juventus, Arsenal and Tottenham are also said to be interested in the signing of German midfielder Leon Goretzka.
