The federal government job programme, N-Power, has announced delay in the scheduled physical verification of the 2017 preselected applicants.
The scheme announced the delay on its Facebook page and attributed it to the holiday declared by the federal government on Friday, December 1.
The information as revealed by the scheme on its page
N-Power earlier released six important things preselected applicant of the scheme should know ahead of the December 4 verification.

NAIJ.com gathered that the physical verification stage will verify the age, gender, residential address and local government, academic qualification, and NYSC completion of applicants.

The six things preselected applicants should know include:
1. Your physical verification center is your residential local government area Ssecretariat.
2. You are NOT required to go along with your BVN slip for physical verification.
3. Follow instructions at the center. Be orderly. Be courteous.
4. Everything stated here apply to 2016 applicants who are on the waiting list. These applicants have already received an SMS that they are on the list.
5. Do NOT use information from blogs or unofficial N-Power Channels. Use information shared on the official N-Power pages.
6. Follow the instructions carefully.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that the 300,000 candidates pre-selected under the federal government’s N-Power scheme will undergo its physical verification phase from December 4 to 14 in the 774 local government areas of the country.
The senior special assistant to the president on job creation/youth employment, Afolabi Imoukhuede said the verification would be done with the N-Power stakeholders in the states such as the national orientation agency, N-Power state team, national assembly monitors and observers.
