Zimbabwe's First Lady Grace Mugabe has handed herself over to the South African police following claims of assault.
Mrs. Mugabe allegedly assaulted 20-year-old model Gabriella Engels because she was partying with her sons Robert Jr, 25, and Chatunga, 21, over the weekend.
According to South Africa's Police Minister Fikile Mbalula, the 52-year-old First Lady handed herself over to police in Johannesburg on Tuesday, August 15.

She is due to appear before the Wynberg magistrates court later on the same day.
Ms. Engels shared a photo of herself on Twitter showing a cut on her forehead, which she said was a result of the battering she received from Mrs. Mugabe.

She captioned the photo: “What is a girl compared to a women beating you and 10+ body guards standing back leaving her to do this s***?"
In a subsequent tweet, she wrote: “She split my head open in 3 places with an extension cord and used the plug to hit me.”

The Mugabe sons are studying in Johannesburg but reportedly live a playboy lifestyle.
Reports indicate that they were recently evicted from a hotel following a drunken brawl that injured a security guard.
