Current Premier League leaders Manchester City have been crowned champions of the 2018 EFL Cup after beating Arsenal 3-0 in the final played on Sunday evening, February 25, at the Wembley Stadium.
Manchester City really taught Arsenal good football lesson as they mesmerized the Gunners from the first minute till the last minute of the game at Wembley.
City went into the match with aggressive minds after crashing out of the English FA Cup, but Pep Guardiola's men have now redeemed themselves by winning the EFL Cup.
Manchester City scored their first goal in the 19th minute through Sergio Aguero who was assisted by goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.
The first half however ended with Manchester City leading 1-0.
IIkay Guendogan provided a superb assist in the 58th minute for defender Vincent Kompany to score the third goal for Manchester City beating helpless Gunners' goalie David Ospina.
David Silva netted the third goal for Manchester City in the 65th minute thanks to a superb assist from right back Danilo.
It ended 3-0 at the Wembley Stadium as Manchester City emerged champions of the 2018 EFL Cup.
