Current Premier League leaders Manchester City have been hit with a blow following the injury sustained by their super midfielder Fernandinho.
The Brazilian player suffered an hamstring injury in Manchester City's 3-0 win over rivals Arsenal in the final of the EFL Cup on Sunday, February 25.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has now admitted that missing Fernandinho will be a great loss for the team considering how he has been superb this term for the Citizens.
"Yes, Fernandinho is injured. The next games he'll be out. We'll assess him tomorrow, but he's a big loss to the club.
"Now we have to find a solution, to find out which players can play in the Fernandinho position. Now we have a problem in that area." Guardiola was quoted to have said by Daily Mail.
Manchester City's victory over Arsenal in the final of the EFL Cup was Pep Guardiola's first title in charge of the Etihad club.
