The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti state has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to seek re-election in the forthcoming 2019 presidential election.
The APC said President Buhari deserves a second term to serve Nigerians.
The party's acting chairman in the state, Kemi Olaleye, while speaking at a rally in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, January 31, said President Buhari's achievement cannot be over emphasised.
Olaleye also celebrating the release of seven members of the APC by an Ekiti state high court in Ado Ekiti, said the party would soon release all the achievements of the president in the state.

“Today, more than 10,000 Ekiti indigenes across party lines are benefiting from N-Power; the federal housing estate, the federal secretariat under construction and many of our people were appointed into federal boards, commissions and parastatals. The school feeding programme is also a landmark achievement.
“Very soon, this party will release the achievements of President Buhari in Ekiti, which Governor (Ayodele) Fayose has hidden," Olaleye said.
Speaking on the rally, the state's publicity secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, said the APC in Ekiti is in full support of President Buhari and the party ahead of the July governorship election.

Olatunbosun said: “God has vindicated them and the judgment shows that the country’s judiciary is independent and we expect them to do more against Governor Fayose because he is committing a lot of evils.
“We learnt that he has been bragging that he will rearrest them; we dare him to do so because we will go to court to seek redress on this gross abuse of our members’ rights.
“But let me say this, the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, must reinvestigate the cause of Aderiye’s death. Chief Aderiye was an illustrious son of Ekiti and the cause of his death must be known, he must not die in vain."
The party also issued a seven-day ultimatum to Fayose to release Adenijo, who was rearrested for another offence immediately they were set free by the court.
