NAIJ.com notes that the Senator compared the scale of looting under this current government, to that which was allegedly committed by the former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki during the Goodluck Jonathan administration i.e., the arms deal scam.
In a post on his Facebook page, Sani predicted that the alleged embezzlement of the Paris Club refund will also be exposed, just like the arms deal scam was.
In the post, the Senator metaphorically referred to the Dasuki debacle as ‘the arms fortune’, the Peoples Democratic Party as ‘the umbrella’, the Paris Club refund as ‘the France fortune’, and used the word ‘swept’, in relation to the ruling All Progressives Congress party whose symbol is a broom.
He stated: “As the arms fortune hidden under the umbrella is known, the France fortune swept under the carpet will be known.”
